West Virginia Governor’s Race: Help Us Call Voters!

Tuesday is Election Day in my home state of West Virginia where we will elect a new Governor.  With just a few days to go, I need your help.  This one’s personal for me.

The race has turned ugly in recent weeks with the millionaire Republican candidate spending large sums of money on negative advertising. But I’m a firm believer that grassroots voter contact can overcome even the largest flood of GOP cash.

Can you help us call voters for 20 minutes on Monday or Tuesday in support of the Democratic candidate?  Click here to RSVP to volunteer.

You will receive an email over the next few days with a link and log-in instructions for remote phone banking, as well as a short call script. It’s very easy to make a few calls from your own living room, and it can have a huge impact.

The good news is that the Democrat continues to maintain a narrow lead in the polls, even after weeks of constant Republican attack ads. But special elections have notoriously low turnout, so it all comes down to who can get their supporters to the polls on Tuesday.

Please RSVP to contact voters in my home state of West Virginia on Monday or Tuesday.

After signing up to volunteer on YDA’s website, you can also let me know on Twitter that you’re helping out by tweeting @RodSnyderWV or @YoungDems.

This is a race that Democrats can absolutely win, but we need a few minutes of your time.  Help us send a message that working class families, students and grassroots activists can overcome the Republican money machine.  The stakes are very high for me and all West Virginians.  I appreciate your help!

Thank you,

Rod Snyder
