We the People

The last nine words in the First Amendment of the Constitution give every citizen of the United States the freedom to petition our government. 

Today, the White House announced a new effort to update that basic right—they're calling it We the People. Digital director Macon Phillips described the new initiative with a video this morning:

We the People will launch in the weeks ahead, but you can sign up to be notified as soon as it's ready.

President Obama and Vice President Biden Launch Campaign to Cut Waste

In a video today, President Obama and Vice President Biden launched the Campaign to Cut Waste, an initiative to identify and eliminate needless spending by the federal government. This campaign aims to ensure that your tax dollars are not being wasted and that the federal government is operating as efficiently as possible.
